Gasmate RC .42b
by Daniel on Aug.07, 2009, under GasMate
This is just a quick bugfix for those of you with square screens. Ed Thompson found the bug where square screens were not displaying correctly. I had set anchors when I shouldn’t have, and it should now be fixed. In doing this, I also fixed the landscape(rotation) bug.

If there an option to to a partial tank or do then all have to be total fill-ups?
Thanks
Bruce

Right now they need to be full fill ups. What you can do is just keep track of the gallons, and when you fill up full the next time make sure to add those in. Not a fill up is the next thing that I plan to work on, but it will require a database change so I have been reluctant to work on it.

Just started to use this but here in the UK we use a helpful combination of metric and imperial measurements. Fuel (Gas) is purchased in Litres but the odometer is in miles and consumption is calculated in miles per gallon usually. Is it possible to have this hybrid combination at all?

I will have to add this in, it is on my list of things to do.

I tried on the SGH-i600 Samsung Blackjack, but no joy. After the three files installed, the error is as below.

Hi,
Is there a way to track more then one vehicle? I would like to be able to track my car and my motorcycle.
Thanks
Bruce

No, not at this time, first I am getting everything done with just one car.

I have expanded this into an excel sheet and added some more averages and total costs for all items… is there an email address I can send it to and you can possibly work some of it in.. thanks

Any chance there’s a relatively easy fix for WVGA screens?

Minor issue: You should get separators from localization settings. Countries like eg. Norway use . as thousand separator and , as decimal separator.

Since .41 it should be pulling localization info.

Thanks for your useful app.
In “Add ODO” tab, I suggest to have one more line to input “Total Cost” along with the “Liters” one. And only one of the two inputs is set at a reading. I usually fill the tank with a even total cost than a even liters.

Yeah this project is kinda dead. I havn’t had much time to work on it, plus my new car does all this for me now.
